The term civilisation to us means, community, barrier defying love, family and connection. Our project reflects all the terms used above. A civilisation is not built by blood relations but people of all kinds and nature coming together and forming relationships with one another.
Our Project, ‘The Place I Call Home,’ is set in an orphanage, based on an orphanage in DR Congo. The orphanage in the narrative is a homely place where kids abandoned by their family, find love and warmth in a stranger. These kids with their own stories and own share of adventure will bring a new perspective to the usual sad orphan commercials. It’s a light-hearted, fun, and engaging interactive spin on lives that have been changed.

BLNKDISRUPTION is a project which aims to investigate the evolution of creative media, what it is today and what it could develop into in the future. This project aims to make people aware of the future possibilities of creative media. We aim to uplift and inspire a community of people with creative media that we create with them. Our ambition is to produce a powerful and inspirational project that will create an enlightening user experience. We aim to explore the potential of AR as a future possibility of art medium in public spaces. We hope to create and develop a piece of traditional media with a community and to amplify this piece further using immersive creative media technology. We intend to showcase our final creation on DkIT Campus so we can document the experience and receive feedback through user testing. We also plan to unveil our completed creative media work at our FíS showcase
